Incubators
An "incubator" is used to grow and maintain microbiological cultures or cell cultures. These units provide the optimal temperature, humidity and atmospheric levels within which cultures can develop.

At Labmode, we stock a wide variety of Binder and Eppendorf incubators which suit the varying needs of different research facilities.

CO2 incubators: These units have the ability to control humidity or CO2 levels. This is important in the cultivation of mammalian cells, where the relative humidity is typically >80% to prevent evaporation and a slightly acidic pH is achieved by maintaining a CO2 level of 5%..

General incubators: These are used to grow and maintain microbiological cultures or cell cultures. Incubators are essential for much experimental work in cell biologymicrobiology and molecular biology and are used to culture both bacterial and eukaryotic cells.

Plant growth chambers: These chambers provide homogenous lighting conditions, constant humidity and temperature conditions, as well as a responsive humidification system and high-performance cooling for optimal growth conditions of various cultures.

Constant climate chambers: These units facilitate long-term stable temperatures, humidity and light simulation all within a single chamber.
